 Microbe-lift Nite-Out II contains live bacterial strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira and Nitrobacter, specially developed for saltwater aquariums, which ensure a rapid breakdown of ammonium and nitrite and thus significantly shorten the running-in phase of a newly set up aquarium and help reduce fish losses during transport and aquarium moves or renovation work. Works immediately and reliably! Remains active up to 4°C! (Optimal from 13°C). The selection of bacterial strains also makes it suitable for cold water aquariums (Atlantic, Mediterranean, etc.). Works much more effectively at 25°C than conventional bacterial products, which only reach their optimum at 38-39°C.

 Important:
 Explanation of the application of Nite Out II and starting the nitrifying process in combination with Special Blend:
 It is advisable to use Microbe-Lift® Special Blend (see above) before using Nite Out II to remove any remaining organic waste, as a high concentration of organic waste can limit or even prevent the nitrification process. Do not use Nite Out II until one or two days after using Microbe-Lift® Special Blend so that it can do its job. It is also important to first test the pH value (this must be between 7.9 and 8.5) and to check whether there is enough carbonate hardness. The KH value must always be at least 3dH°. This is very important because the nitrifying bacteria use this as fuel. Seven parts carbonate hardness are used for one part ammonium! Without good KH values, nitrification is not possible! To increase the KH value you can use the Microbe-Lift® pH 8.2 Buffer / Stabilizer, for example, so that you reach a value of at least 3-6 dH°.
